Founder

Maqsud Mohammad

Maqsud founded LeanGains with a simple belief: technology should make running a business easier, not more complicated.

With 20+ years of experience in enterprise software and product development, he has spent his career solving complex technology problems and turning them into systems people can actually use. That experience shaped LeanGains' approach today — understand the problem first, use technology where it genuinely adds value, and avoid building complexity for complexity's sake.

His current focus is helping businesses combine modern software, automation and AI to remove operational bottlenecks and unlock value from the data they already have.

Outside LeanGains

A keen traveller and history enthusiast, Maqsud has explored the Silk Road in Uzbekistan, Roman sites across Europe and North Africa, and 10 US National Parks. His travel bucket list is still considerably longer than his calendar.

Dan Sheridan

Dan leads LeanGains' go-to-market strategy, partnerships and commercial growth. With more than 15 years' experience across communications, marketing and business strategy, he connects our technical expertise with the real-world challenges of growing businesses. He is also founder and Managing Director of award-winning PR and communications consultancy Duo Consulting.

Outside LeanGains

Dan is a lover of the great outdoors. A former second lieutenant in the British Army Reserves, his love of adventure and physical activity has taken him up mountains, into seas and through marathons.

Jason Scalzo

Jason advises LeanGains on its US strategy, helping the business build meaningful relationships and identify opportunities where its approach can create value. His perspective supports our ambition to bring practical, commercially focused digital delivery to more growing businesses.
